Nicolas Lye is an experienced venture investor and operator with a strong background in early-stage company building and strategic growth. At Hive Ventures, he focuses on identifying category-defining startups and supporting founders across product strategy, market expansion, and venture scaling. Prior to Hive, Nicolas worked at leading organizations such as OpenSpace Ventures and Enterprise Singapore, where he partnered with over 50 emerging tech startups—many of which tripled their ARR or secured follow-on funding. He also served as a Venture Architect at Stryber, leading 0-to-1 venture builds and go-to-market strategies across MENA and APAC. Nicolas holds a degree in Accountancy and Finance from the National University of Singapore, graduating with Highest Distinction.
